BM TRADA Q-Mark Certified

Khells Projects holds BM TRADA Q-Mark certification covering both fire door installation and maintenance - independently audited, not a one-off badge.

What BM TRADA Q-Mark certification means

BM TRADA Q-Mark is a third-party certification scheme for fire door installation and maintenance in the UK. Certified installers are independently assessed against the scheme's requirements and subject to ongoing surveillance, rather than a single one-off assessment.

Khells Projects is certified for both installation and maintenance disciplines - meaning the same certified standard applies whether we're fitting a new doorset or carrying out scheduled maintenance on an existing one.

Audited every 6 months

Certification isn't a badge that's earned once and forgotten. Our work is subject to ongoing BM TRADA audit on a six-monthly cycle, checking that installation and maintenance practice continues to meet the scheme's requirements.

Certificate-driven, not invented

Every doorset we install or maintain is matched against the manufacturer's own certification - the specific frame, hardware, seals and glazing permitted for that certified doorset. We don't assume component compatibility or substitute parts outside what the certificate allows.

What this doesn't cover

We work strictly from the fire risk assessment or compartmentation drawings provided by you or your appointed professional. We don't provide fire risk assessments, specification advice, or building compliance sign-off - those remain the responsibility of the relevant qualified professional. This certification relates to our installation and maintenance work, not to advice on what a building requires.
